A bright streak flashes from your pointing finger to a point you choose within range and then blossoms with a low roar into an illusionary explosion of flame. Each creature of your choice within a 20-foot radius sphere centered on that point must make a Wisdom saving throw. A target takes 6d6 psychic damage on a failed save. A creature that passes their saves realizes the fire is illusionary and takes no damage. You can make the illusory effect an explosion of ice, lightning, or pure force energy.
At higher levels: When you cast this spell 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each level above 3rd.
