Armor Constriction

Impede movement of creatures in armor or with natural armor.

Evocation \ \ Force
1-2-level
Save: Fortitude Negates (See text)
SR: No

Casting time: 1 standard action
Range: Medium (100 ft. + 10 ft./level)
Duration: 1 minute per caster level
Targets: One set of armor (Or one creature, see text)
Componenent: V, S

Description

You cause the targeted set of armor to fight against it's wearer. While it still provides defense, movement is inhibited greatly as the wearer needs to strain in order to move. The creature wearing the armor can make a Fortitude save each round on their turn as a free action. If they succeed, they ignore the penalties for one round.   The wearer of armor affected by this spell takes a penalty to their attack rolls equal to their armor's armor check penalty.   It's theorized that this spell was used to make hunting large creatures easier; It's unknown why a spell would need to be made specifically to target other humanoids.

When augmented

When prepared/cast as a level 2 spell, you may instead target a creature. A creature must make a Fortitude save each round or take a penalty to their attack rolls equal to half their natural armor bonus.
