Description

Rin Erivin is a commander in the Arktura Guard. She has a prestigious background and has been knighted by King Deralos for her service to the nation. She has a strict set of principles and prefers to operate by the book.

Suggested Environments


Dwarven Resilience. Rin has advantage on saving throws against poison.   Stonecunning. Rin adds double her proficiency bonus to Intelligence (History) checks related to the origin of stonework.   Military Intervention. Rin and her allies can intervene to settle a conflict, rescue helpless civilians or help capture a common enemy, provided they fully trust their informants and that the intervention doesn't go against their ideals and affiliations.   Pushing Attack (3/Short or Long Rest). When Rin hits a creature with a weapon attack, she can attempt to drive the target back. If the target is Large or smaller, it must make a DC 17 Strength saving throw. On a failed save, Rin pushes the target up to 15 feet in the opposite direction.   Action Surge (1/Short or Long Rest). Rin can push herself beyond her normal limits for a moment. On her turn, she can take one additional action. She can use it only once on the same turn.   Indomitable (2/Day). Rin can reroll a saving throw that she fails. If she does so, she must use the new roll.   Buster Weapon Master. You have practiced extensively with extremely large weapons, gaining the following benefits: You gain a +1 bonus on attack rolls with a buster weapon against any Medium or smaller target using a shield. Your large weapon easily overcomes the defense provided by shields.Before you make a melee attack with a buster weapon that you are proficient with, you can choose to make the attack without the normal disadvantage imposed for handling a buster weapon. If the attack hits, you take a -10 penalty to the damage roll (minimum of 1 + your Strength modifier).   Stealth Disadvantage. Rin has disadvantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks while wearing her plate armor.

Actions

Multiattack. Rin makes three attacks with her Buster Sword or three attacks with her Handaxe.   Buster Sword. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 10 ft, one target. Hit: 19 (4d6 + 5) slashing damage.   Handaxe. Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft or range 20/60 ft, one target. Hit: 8 (1d6 + 5) slashing damage.   Whirlwind Attack. Rin attacks a creature with her Buster Sword and attempts to damage all other creatures within reach with the same attack. Those who would be hit by the original attack take 26 damage of the weapon's type.

Reactions

Second Wind (1/Short or Long Rest). Rin has a limited well of stamina that she can draw on to protect herself from harm. She regains 22 (1d10 + 17) hit points.
