Feats
Be Worthy-
Mjölnir can only be held by one who is deemed worthy. Anyone who is not worthy can not move Mjölnir. Mjölnir can be placed on any 'unworthy' being, pinning them to the ground, rendering them stuck until Mjölnir has been removed.
Flight-
Swinging Mjölnir can cause enough momentum to be lifted off the ground and fly in any direction the hammer is pointed in granted it's wielder flight.
History
It is said that Mjölnir was crafted by the Dwarves of the GodMaker Forge to be the ultimate weapon, and was so powerful, that it had depleted the forge from ever being used again.
A handheld hammer, with a sentient sense of worth, deciding who could and could not wield it was gifted to Odin originally by Loki, in an attempt to get back into his good graces and not be exiled from the family. Loki had convinced the Dwarves to craft their finest work, for his very life could be at risk. The Dwarves did not disappoint. When Loki presented this to Odin, Odin had given it as a present to his favorite son, Thor, angering Loki.
The final touches to the hammer were done by Odin himself, further enchanting the hammer with the very essence of his son, speaking the enchantment engraved onto it:
"Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor"
