Special Maneuvers
Precision Shooting - hold the weapon with both hands to increase chance to hit, +6 to hit as an attack (must have a free hand)
Half Burst - Fire 2 shots instead of 4 with a +3 bonus to hit as an attack
Rapid Shooting - If matching weapons are dual-wielded, fire two bursts instead of one with a negative modifier of -8 to hit as an attack. If successful, roll burst damage twice. Once you have used this maneuver, you may use it again after the end of your next turn.
Trickshot - Designate a specific body part to hit as an attack and deal specific conditions to the target (must have a free hand), you may perform this maneuver once per short or long rest.
Torso: The target must make a Constitution Saving Throw against a DC13 or be Dazed
Arms: You impose disadvantage on all attacks made by the target until the start of your next turn
Legs: You hamstring an opponent and reduce their movement by half until the start of your next turn
Special Properties
CQC - Bonus of +3 to hit if between 20 and 10 feet of the target while not dual-wielding, no disadvantage if target is in melee range.
Light - Can be wielded in both hands.
Loading: Uses a bonus action to fast reload (involves dropping the magazine to pick up later), requires a full action to reload and not drop the magazine. If dual-wielded, both a bonus action and an action must be taken to reload.
Jamming: On a critical failure, roll a 1D12, if it lands on a 3 or less, the weapon is jammed and requires a bonus action (D&D5E) or an action point (PF2E) to clear the jam
Handling: 1-handed
The Arma di Isotta R9 is a short recoil, semi-automatic, single/double action pistol that uses a staggered 15-round box magazine. Its early versions developed pre-cataclysm had some slide fracture issues that raised some safety concerns but ultimately were resolved, just a few months before the cataclysm occurred. The Verdoyant alliance was using this weapon as a sidearm for their infantry, and they dubbed it the "pizza blaster" for some reason.
