Halfling

Halflings are a small, practical people. Some communities exist apart from society, where they live peaceful and quiet lives. Most of these communities reside in the vast grasslands of the Republic of Slanteria. The vast majority of halflings, however, have integrated into society, where they live among humans, elves, and other races. Since they are not magical in nature, halflings were one of the few races to be unaffected by the Fall in Alviera.
