The Mugi Co XB18 was in its testing phase before the cataclysm but has numerous surviving examples since the Mugi Company kept producing them even long after the cataclysm as their factories were largely unaffected because of their mountainous locations. As society and civilization started to deteriorate, the Mugi Company had to dissolve thanks to unsteady supply chains and trade crumbling. The rifle itself is remarkably reliable and simple, remaining mostly unchanged. It has a folding stock and a left hand charging handle with a long stroke gas piston system.
