Chaos Random Magic Crit Failure List (Crit Fail Option, The table or 1d6+Spell slot level used)

Roll the Dice
01-02Your blood begins to boil and bubble from your wounds. Roll on this table at the start of each of your turns for the next minute. If rolled again while under this effect you are roll twice this turn.
03-04Your eyes turn completely red, pupils and all. For the next minute all creatures you see appear to you as having a spindly stick figure inside of them. You can see the stick figure for 100ft and is not obscured by anything.
05-06You feel your body ripping apart as a red tinted double of you splits from your body. Until it dies or 1d4 min pass you will have half your current HP Max, which it will have stolen from you, and work to destroy anything it can see except you directly. You regain your HP max and whatever HP your double has left when it passes on.
07-08You feel a heat grow in the center of your chest as an explosion suddenly rips through you. You detonate a fireball of force damage at 3rd level, centered on you.
09-10Your fingers stretch outward in red streaks. You cast magic missile as a 5th level spell. Each missile hits a random target.
11-12You feel your skeleton becoming disjointed and moving on its own. Roll a D10, your height changes by a number of inches equal to the roll. Odd rolls you shrink, even rolls you grow. You are the only one who notices this change, everyone else believes you have always been this size.
13-14You see the world warp, melt, and shift around you. You cast confusion centered on yourself, no matter what you auto fail your saving throw against it.
15-16You feel a strength flow through you that begins to grow hotter and hotter. You regain 5 HP at the start of each of your turns for the next minute. At the end of the minute the feeling of heat overwhelms you, forcing you to spend your entire turn throwing up blood.
17-18You feel your mind reach out looking for a target. Whoever you target has their entire body grow/expel (scales/feathers/hair/slime) until the next time they are submerged in water. If you don't pick a target you suffer this effect.
19 - 20Space warps around you spawning 1d8+2 bubbles of grease in a 30ft area around you. The bubbles will pop if touched and spread in a 5ft area around where they were popped.
21 - 22The spells around you glow in bright neon colors making them easily noticed. You have advantage on saving throws on spells made against you for the next minute.
23 - 24Your skin changes colors to a shimmering blood red. Feeling your skin it feels as if there is a powerful river running beneath it. Remove Curse can end this effect.
25 - 26Roll a 1d3. 1 means your left eye glows red and you see what happens in the next minute in the future, giving you advantage on your next 3 rolls. 2 means your right eye glows blue and you can see people's emotional state based on an color aura for a minute. 3 means your forehead glows red and an ethereal eye manifests, allowing you to see into the ethereal plane for 1 min
27 - 28The flows of magic become crystal clear for you, all your spells with a casting time of 1 action have a casting time of 1 bonus action for the next minute.
29 - 30A red energy curls around your body and explodes for 1d8 points to everything within 5ft of you. You are teleported to an unoccupied space within 60 ft. (Roll a 1d4 to determine vertical movement. 1= no change.)
31 - 32You feel your body shift and phase as teleport to a different plane until the end of your next turn.
33 - 34You feel your body fill with power. Your next damaging spell deals maximum damage.
35 - 36You feel your body contort shift. Roll a D10, your age changes by a number of years equal to the roll. Odd rolls you get younger, even rolls you age. You are the only one who notices this change, everyone else believes you have always been this age.
37 - 38You blink as a flash of light blinds you. For 1 minute you are transformed into a random animal determined by the GM.
39 - 40You regain 2d10HP. Extra HP becomes temp HP and manifests as a red aura around you.
41 - 42You turn into a potted plant until the start of your next turn. While a plant you are incapacitated and vulnerability to all damage. If you drop to 0 HP your revert to your original form at 0 HP.
43 - 44Your mind feels sharper and you can see shortcuts in the folds of reality. For the next minute you can teleport 20ft as apart of your move action. This is in addition to your regular movement.
45 - 46You feel the world moving underneath you as you are left behind. You begin floating weightlessly for 1 min.
47 - 48A warrior silhouetted in red appears and begins attacking the nearest creature that isn't you. If the target is down it will move on until defeated or 1 min passes.
49 - 50Whenever you try to speak purple bubbles float out of your mouth. When popped they explode dealing 2d6+6 force damage in a 15ft radius. DC 12 dex save for half damage.
51 - 52You feel energy just shunting off of your body. For 1 minute creatures must make a DC 18 Str save to approach within 10ft of you. The save must be repeated at the start of the creatures turn to not be pushed back.
53 - 54You feel the intense craving for alcohol. For the next 5d6 days you must drink excessively or gain a point of exhaustion per day.
55 - 56All creatures within 30ft of you feel their hair curl and fall out. ALL HAIR. The hair grows back excessively after 24 hours, much more then what previously fell out.
57 - 58You feel your hands start to heat up with a burning sensation and start to glow. For the next 1d12 hours anything flammable you touch bursts into flames.
59 - 60Your mind is eased and you feel your energy returning, granting you back your lowest level expended spell slot.
61 - 62You feel your throat tighten and thicken. For the next 1d4 minutes your speech is amplified as if under the influence of the thaumaturgy spell.
63 - 64A misty red fog descends in a 50ft radius area centered on you. It functions as a fog cloud spell,
65 - 66Each creature within 20ft of you, including you, are struck with nausea as your vision splits apart. Each creature affected has Mirror Image cast on them.
67 - 68The nearest creature next to warps and turns into a horrifying creature beyond compare......to you. You are frightened by it until the end of your next turn.
69 - 70You feel a magical veil fall all around you. All creatures within 30ft of you become invisible for the next minute. Invisibility ends on a creature if it attacks or casts a spell.
71 - 72You gain resistance to the type of damage you last took damage from for the next minute.
73 - 74As you exhale you see a red mist exit your mouth as it snakes into the lungs of someone else. A random creature within 60ft of you becomes incurably poisoned for 1d4 hours.
75 - 76Your body glows brilliantly. The 30 ft radius area around you glows with bright light for the next minute. Any creature that ends its turn within 5ft of you is blinded until the end of its next turn.
77 - 78You feel your mind reaching out for a target. A red light shimmers around your target and grants them Immunity to all damage for a minute.
79 - 80Red ghostly figures flit at the corners of your vision. You suffer from these hallucinations for 1d4 hours. You have disadvantage on all Perception and Investigation checks relying on sight.
81 - 82The world slows around you. You may take one additional turn immediately.
83 - 84All creatures within 10ft including yourself, are blasted from your corporal bodies. For the next minute you are incorporeal and you can only communicate with others effected by this effect. Your body can still take damage and die.
85 - 86You feel your mind reaching out searching for 3 targets. Three creatures within 30ft are struck by lightning for 4d10 lightning damage. If you don't choose a target you suffer the effect of 1 lightning bolt.
87 - 88You hear faint ethereal music for the next minute. It sounds like a death dirge.
89 - 90Your body painfully dissolves into like ash and floats away. You are left as a spirit and are invisible for the next minute. During that time other creatures can't hear you. The invisibility ends if you attack or cast a spell.
91 - 92A portal opens as you see a ghostly red spirit get pulled into your body. If you die within then next 1d4 days you immediately come back to life as if by reincarnate.
93 - 94Your body contorts as it changes size. You grow/shrink two size classes for the next minute. Flip a coin, heads is grow and tails is shrink.
95 - 96Red light begins to bleed from you and all creatures within 30ft of you. You all gain vulnerability to all damage for the next minute.
97 - 98Your mind reaches out searching for a target. The creature has fly casted on them.
99 - 100You feel your body refresh as if it just took a long rest.
