Antennae.The antennae atop your head give you blindsight with a radius of 15 feet.
Compund Eye.Your kind’s eyes are composed of hundreds of smaller “eyes”, giving you multiple views at once. They’re perfect for spotting something sneaking up but confusing when inspecting something closely. You are proficient in the Wisdom (Perception) skill and you add double your proficiency bonus to your Passive Perception score. You also have a -2 penalty to Intelligence (Investigation) checks. Ultravision. You can see in the ultraviolet end of the spectrum. Many substances look different under ultraviolet light. Blood, feces, and urine glows. Many feathers, fish, flowers, and coral have glowing patterns, and the chlorophyll in plants is a glowing blood red. Many minerals such as amber, opal, quartz, and ruby glow. Even the faintest radiation of an electrical field has a brightly glowing corona when viewed with ultravision.
Gain advantage on Wisdom (Survival) checks while tracking a creature that is below its maximum hit points, and on Wisdom (Perception) or Intelligence (Investigation) checks made to see bodily fluids, electricity, or minerals and other substances that glow under ultraviolet light.
