Description

Captain Herbert Boom-stick is the captain who controls Fort Shadow-Fang. He is a well built man, but has a slight gut. He has short, black hair and always appears to be angry. Herbert wields two phews and a rapier.

Ideals

Herbert wants to work his way up the ranks and gain control within the power. This is a personal dream of his.

Herbert is loyal to the Imperial Spy Empire and, by extension, Ruadhan Gold-Spirit.

Flaws

Herbert is quick to anger and trigger happy. He can be a hard opponent to talk out of a fight.

Multiattack. Herbert makes two rapier attacks or two phew attacks.   Rapier. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 1d20+5 to hit, reach 5ft, one target. Hit: 7 (1d8+3) 1d8+3 piercing damage.   Phew. Ranged Weapon Attack: +5 1d20+5 to hit, range 30/120, one target. Hit: 8 (1d10+3) 1d10+3 piercing damage.

Reactions

Parry. Herbert adds 2 to his AC against one melee attack that would hit him. To do so, Herbert must see the attacker and be wielding a melee weapon.   Pommel Hit. Whenever an enemy fails to meet Herbert's AC during an attack roll, Herbert can use his reaction to hit the enemy with the pommel of his sword or slap them with one of his phews, dealing 4 (1d4+2) 1d4+2 bludgeoning damage.
