Legendary Evocation Requires Attunement

This spellbook, along with anything written on its pages, can’t be damaged by fire or immersion in water. In addition, the spellbook doesn’t deteriorate with age. While holding this book, you can use it as a spellcasting focus for wizard spells.     The book has 3 charges, and it regains 1D4-1 expended charges daily at dawn. You can use the charges in the following ways while holding it.   If you spend 1 minute studying the book, you can spend 1 charge to replace one of your prepared wizard spells with a different spell you know but isn’t prepared.   You can expend 1 charge to cast 1 wizard spell without verbal, somatic, or material components.   When a creature you can see within 30 feet of you makes an attack roll, an ability check, or a saving throw, you can use your reaction to expend 1 charge and roll a d4 and apply the number rolled as a bonus or penalty (your choice) to the original roll. You can do this after you see the roll but before its effects are applied.     An ancient and forgotten Spell, Spirit Lich is decoded and added to your known spells. This spell doesn't count against your known spells.

This spell book is bound in black and gray dragon scales with the inscription “To know is to weild” in draconic siglis on its cover. Within its pages arcane secrets are contained for those who can read and interpret the arcane equations.
