Skirrish Gattifolk

In contrast to most Gattifolk, the Skirrish are wary of outsiders, despite still typically living in or near the cities of other races. The members of Skirrish clans are almost entirely antipathetic to the other races, though on rare occasions they may become friendly with individuals who have proven themselves trustworthy.
Life in these clans is often harsh. Food and other resources are often scarce, and their mistrust of other races makes trade difficult. Under the wrong leadership, a clan may face starvation and sickness, or may even begin to actively antagonize their neighbors.
When a clan reaches this point, some Skirrish mothers have been known to take their kittens and leave, in the hopes that their children will not have to suffer such conditions. This may also provide a Skirrish with a reason to adventure.
Skirrish names follow the conventions of the Tabaxi, but without the typical Gattifolk need to be familiar to other races.
