Guinevere Warren: Genetic Engineer and Bio-Chemist, Roman’s sweetheart from NYU. They broke it off after Roman was ordained, but remained very close as friends (they were both still in love with one another). While Guinevere was pursuing her Doctorate at Barnard, she and Roman were communicating long distance and she had been planning on moving out to Durham after graduating to be closer to him. Until he cut all contact with her after becoming a vampire (this was partially Cynthia’s doing, but it was also Roman’s fear that he would do what Cynthia did to him to Guinevere).   Wilson Valdez: Roman’s childhood best friend; lost contact with after moving out of New York; Roman “got out” while he didn’t. He was the “brawn” to Roman’s “brain,” when in reality Roman was the one getting them into trouble, while Wilson was getting them out of it. He works as a mechanic now, but if he had the means and opportunity when he was younger he could have most certainly become a revolutionary engineer.   St. Joseph: Saint of his childhood church and Patron of a good death.

Once the clan was defined by a rigid hierarchy of Blood Bonds reaching from the top to the bottom of the Pytamid. But after the fall of Bienna, their Blood has recoiled and aborted all such connections. Tremere vitae can no longer Blood Bind other Kindred, though they themselves can be bound by Kindred from other clans. A Tremere can still bind mortals and ghouls, though the corrupted vitae must be drunk an additional number of times equal to the vampire’s Bane Severity for the bond to form. Some theorise this change is the revenge of the Antediluvian devoured by the Tremere, others attribute it to a simple mutation. Regardless, the clan studies their vitae intently to discover if the process can be reversed, and, indeed, determine if they would want to do so.
