Werecat

GoTverse Werecats are a race of Werebeast specific to the Game of Tomes universe (the GoTverse). Werecats are made, not born, as their abilities rely on the Cat Totem's acceptance.

ability score increase: Your Dexterity score increases by 2, and your Wisdom score increases by 1.

age: Werecats reach adulthood in their mid-teens and live roughly a century.

alignment: Werecats are free spirits who revel in chaos in general, so they tend to the more chaotic aspects of life.

Size: Medium

speed: Your base walking speed is 30 feet, and, and, in Cat form, your base climbing speed is 5 feet. In Half-Cat form, your base climbing speed is 10 feet.

Languages: You can speak, read, and write Common and Kitty

race features:
Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray. Shapeshift. You can shapeshift between 3 forms: Humanoid, Half-Cat, and Cat. Shapeshifting takes one full action. After the 3^rd shift without long rest, there is an increasing chance (25% per shift) that you are stuck in a form until long rest. Predator Instincts. You have good ears and a better nose. You gain a +1 to any Wisdom (Survival) check.

Werecats appear nearly indistinguishable from Humans in their Humanoid form, and commonly take on a near-perfect guise of an cat in Cat form. What is truly unique about Werecats is their Half-Cat form, which is bipedal and looks much like an anthropomorphized cat.
