Wounding Blast

Prerequisite
eldritch blast cantrip
Description
As a bonus action, you cause blood to drip from your palms. The next time you cast eldritch blast, each of its attacks deal slashing damage instead of force damage. Choose one living creature that can bleed and is hit by these attacks to make a Constitution saving throw. On a failure, the creature begins bleeding. A bleeding creature takes 1d4 slashing damage at the start of each of its turns. This damage ignores resistance to slashing damage. A bleeding creature, or a creature within 5 feet of the bleeding creature, can end this damage by using its action and succeeding on a DC 15 Wisdom (Medicine) check or by using magic that causes the bleeding creature to regain at least 1 hit point.
The bleeding damage increases by 1d4 when you reach 5th level (2d4), 11th level (3d4), and 17th level (4d4).
You lose the benefits of this eldritch invocation if you use a different eldritch invocation that changes the damage type of your eldritch blast before you cast the cantrip.
