Prerequisite
5th level warlock, Pact of the Tome feature
Description
You gain proficiency with the herbalism kit if you don’t already have it, and you learn the formulae for the elixir of health, potion of courage, and potion of resistance.
  • Elixir of Health. When a creature drinks this potion, it cures any disease afflicting the drinker, and it removes the blinded, deafened, paralyzed, and poisoned conditions from the drinker. The clear red liquid has tiny bubbles of light in it.
  • Potion of Courage. For 1 hour after drinking this potion, the drinker is immune to being frightened and gains temporary hit points equal to your proficiency bonus at the start of each of its turns. When the potion wears off, the drinker loses any remaining temporary hit points from this potion. This blue potion bubbles and steams as if boiling.
  • Potion of Resistance. When you create this potion, choose one damage type from among acid, cold, fire, force, lightning, necrotic, poison, psychic, radiant, and thunder. A creature gains resistance to the chosen damage type for 1 hour after drinking this potion.
With one hour of work using an herbalism kit and expending one pound of medicinal herbs, you can brew one potion, forgoing the normal material cost. You must know the potion’s formula and the potion must have a rarity of common, uncommon, or rare. An unconsumed potion brewed in this way loses its magic after 24 hours. A creature that identifies such a potion knows of its temporary nature. Once you brew a number of potions in this way equal to your proficiency bonus, you must finish a long rest before you can brew more.
