Young dragonborn grow quickly. They walk hours after hatching, attain the size and development of a 10-year-old human child by the age of 3, and reach adulthood by 15. They live to be around 80.

Impassioned and independent, most dragonborn tend toward chaotic alignment. While their color does not influence their disposition (unlike true dragons), very few dragonborn are neutral; they tend toward zealous extremes of good or evil.

Desert Camouflage. You have advantage on Dexterity(Stealth) checks in desert terrain, and you may take the Hide action when lightly obscured by whipping sand. Desert Descendant. Your cold blood, sunken eyes, and lightened scales have developed to combat the desert heat. You ignore any deficiency from extreme desert environments. Break the Hourglass. You can cast the Create or Destroy Sand spell at will; you must finish a long rest in order to cast the spell again using this trait. Breath of Gale. In exchange of your racial counterpart's elemental control, your lineage has gained the ability to control the sands with the wind. You can use a bonus action to exhale a gust of air in a 15 ft. cone or 30 ft. line. When you use your breath weapon in a sandy environment, each creature in its area must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or become blinded till the start of your next turn and take 1d6 bludgeoning damage. You also have the choice to not manipulate the sand with your exhalation. You may choose for each creature in its area to succeed on a Strength saving throw or be pushed 10 ft. instead. The duration of the afflicted blindless increases by 1 round at 5th level (2 rounds), 11th level (3 rounds), and 17th level (4 rounds).
