I imagine stories and characters because media consistently lacks the sorts of content I'm looking for. Whether it's queer, disabled, or poc characters, whether it's themes, character motivations, or messages that better appeal to me, whether it's as simple as taking my own world and making it just a bit better for me, those are the reasons I must create.   My favourite creative endeavour is character building! Characters should be people - full of life, and idiosyncrasies, and flaws, and hidden gems. It's my goal to see that all of my original characters have the feel of someone you might meet for real.   I don't write often but I can churn out a lot of material in the form of writing about characters and stories meta-textually, especially in collaborative projects! Even if no one else cares about the minor details, I've given them a lot of thought and am ready and willing to share.
