I am a doctor and writer. I became a doctor because I wanted to help people, and writing is my way of helping people understand the world around them. My work as a doctor has taught me that it’s important to listen to patients and take their concerns seriously. My work as a writer has taught me that it’s important to be clear and concise, and to make sure that my readers understand what I’m trying to say. Both of my careers are important to me, but they are also very different. As a doctor, I have the privilege of interacting with patients on a daily basis, hearing about their lives, their families, and their concerns. As a writer, I have the privilege of sharing information with readers all over the world. Both jobs require empathy and compassion – qualities that are essential for success in both fields.
