I am an incessantly curious individual with a penchant for retaining a lot of information and learning as much as I can about any subject that interests me as possible before moving on to another topic. My main literary interests include fairy tales, mythology, superstitions, linguistics, and folklore. However I have college in fine arts, geology, inorganic chemistry, fiction writing, and art history.   Other interests and hobbies include: origami (which I've been doing for almost twenty years as of writing this), calligraphy (I have sold my work in the past), bookbinding, leather crafting (also professionally), and medieval reenactment via the SCA.   All of this goes into my world building, most of which happens with my IRL best friend. Lesanidai is our collective setting and one which we both have a lot invested in. All in all, at my last count we had both put in 10k hours together discussing every minute detail about it that we could think of, and at least another 5k hours each apart over the course of years. I will only ever have one fantasy universe that I actively write in, and this is it.   Our hard low magic medieval technological level bonkers setting that has enough in it to last a few lifetimes to get out. We have our work cut out for us.   With a setting like this we are finding enough room for our respective stories that there's little in the way of overlap as we try to fill out our map to the fullest. (a map designed with all the geology, geography, archaeology, paleontology, and meteorology I could stuff in)   Currently I am trying to type out hand written notes from years ago into here, all the while finding that most articles I start on are taking days to type to completion. So, have fun watching Lesanidai get filled out as I complete articles very very slowly with carpal-tunnel ridden hands and a typing speed that is barely considered competent.
