I'm Matt, a videogame nerd with a profound adoration for worldbuilding and character work. I also largely enjoy fantasy novels such as Lotr, cosmere, Harry Potter, and others along the same lines.
My main project on this site is The Fractured Lands, but I do have others in mind for the future.
Favorite Movies
I'm honestly not that big on movies, but I do have some favorites! Those being Dune (2021), The last samurai (2003), The Batman (2022) and, uh... Endgame (2019) I guess? Like I said, not a big movie person, but I do love some me some good storytelling! Also, action films... though I haven't watched that many.
Favorite TV Series
I've watched a lot of good shows lately! Some being Arcane (2021), Final Space (2018), The Mandalorian (2019) and Stranger Things (2016) which I actually haven't even finished yet. Most of these I enjoy because of the writing, others just cause... they're funny. And personal bias, can't forget about that one!
Favorite Games
Some of my favorite videogames are Dark Souls, Darkest Dungeon, Hollow Knight, Dishonored, Black Mesa... You can probably see the trend by now. I appreciate videogames with a focus on worldbuilding, or rather which are very successful narratively and manage to convey a wonderful story through the ability for the player to interact and live certain moments by themselves. Games that are able to take advantage of their medium to tell a story are some of my favorites, though that doesn't exclude other simpler ones from my list.
