I have left out my last name, as for now I plan to keep this work I'm doing on this book seperate from my real work.    This book will hopefully reveal some truth about the world we live in.  Like children who's room is a mess and they procrastanate to fix it, our world, Earth, is flawed and problematic yet not without hope. The people who live in it, I suggest, need only to see the issues of the world and get to work on fixing it.    You, dear reader, ARE living in a book, a book I believe will be read at the end of days.  You are a character living in a subtle yet dramatic battle between good and evil and the shades in between.    Cost of the Sun ( Though the title may change) is set to take place here, in OUR world, Earth.  It may be that I need to take your mind to places it hasn't wanted to wander yet. To ugly places of our reality, though, I can imagine that you have seen your share of it.   In many books, we seek to escape from the world.  To far off and distant places, to problems that we can set down when we feel like and face them when we want.   I want Cost of the Sun to set us on course to stand in front of the dragon that stands over the world, and look in its face.  To see the horror, ugliness, and fear and despite that, see that just behind it is a bastion of light, and that while the dragon had been real, the light behind it shatters the illusion of darkness created by the dragon .    I want you to come with me on this journey with an open mind.  I want what hopefully you want.  I want a better world that we can in.
