Interests & Hobbies
Other than doing nothing all day, I also have some habits such as drawing, writing, and playing games. While I do have to currently worry about schoolwork and whatnot, it's fun to just sit down, grab a cup of hot tea, and do whatever your heart desires. It's a nice way of relaxing without causing a lot of havoc; something I'm very prone to do from time to time.
Favorite Movies
I like a lot of movies. They can range from horror to romantic comedy, but I like action-packed movies that have a lot of mythical elements in them; dragons, magic, wizardry, witchcraft, etc.
So far, my favorite ones are:
- The How To Train Your Dragon Series
Frozen 2
Maleficent
Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory
Howl's Moving Castle
Steven Universe: The Movie
Pete's Dragon
Tinkerbell
Inside Out
Jumanji
Spider-man: Into The Spider-Verse
Mary Poppins
Aladdin (Animation and Remake)
And a lot more that I can't list off the top of my head. While yes, these are mostly animations, I find them still amazing and brilliant on their own. The way they're animated can instill a lot of life and motion, something that's quite hard to achieve in more realistic movies. It's that sense of childish nostalgia and happiness that make them all wonderful to watch.
Favorite Books
I rarely read, but when I do, I can binge an entire series. Reading is a fun past-time for me. It's a good way of getting hooked into something fun and interesting while also relaxing the eyes from modern technology: computers, phones, etc. Books can also instill a lot of imagination and inspiration, something that's very crucial to have in a general-standpoint. It's fun!
So far, my favorite books are:
The Shadowhunter Series by Cassandra Clare
The Dragonkeeper Series by Carole Wilkinson
The Divergent Series by Veronica Roth
The Books of Ember Series by Jeanne DuPrau
Simon vs. The Homosapien Agenda by Becky Albertalli
There are still a lot more that I can probably name, however, these are the main series or books that I enjoy the most. I really love futuristic or dystopian genres that deal with magic or future-based events. They're all so captivating to read.
Favorite Games
I play too many games and drop them all too quickly. Games are fun to play, they can excite the mind or give us something to do that's enjoyable and safe. From First Person Shooters (FPS) to sandbox games, there's a range that can fit anyone's needs.
So far, my favorite games are:
Warframe by Digital Extremes
Terraria by Re-Logic
Minecraft by Mojang
Iconoclasts by Bi-Frost Entertainment
Slime Rancher by Monomi Park
Stardew Valley by ConcernedApe
Monster Hunter: Worlds by CAPCOM
The Crown of Leaves by TheBrokenHorn
These are currently my favorite ones. They're all interesting in their own ways and have such wonderful elements in them such as magic, wonders, monsters, deep-lore, joy, and astonishments. Such fun games.
