Summer Camp Prep 2026

Get your world and yourself ready for Summer Camp!

Hello there, just your average nerd/geek/weeb out here. I have been into TTRPGs for over a decade at this point. I have been on all sides of the table DM, PC, NPC and spectator.    I have experience with 3.5e, pathfinder and 5e. I am a big fan of homebrew and player agency. Modules and railroading is not something I particularly like to do as DM nor do I like to experience as a player.    As a DM I tend to run open world, homebrew games left up to player agency with an emphasis on combat. When it comes to roleplay I leave it up to my PC, there will tons of though out NPCs to interact with but it is up to the PC to initiate and pursue things further. My combats are often difficult bordering on the line of unfair but as they say "great risk, high reward" and "nothing easy is worth having".   As a player I like to play different characters all the time and try not to repeat any. I can slip into pretty much any party composition but I will say I tend to enjoy combat a whole lot more than RP. I believe in jolly cooperation and forming fun dynamic relationships with my party members.  This will ruffle some feathers but if I wanted to RP a night out at a bar I would go out with my friends, with that said if this RP scene serves to progress or develop the story or someone's character then I am all aboard but if we spend an entire session in the bar and I ask myself "what did we actually accomplish this session?" then its not for me.
