Lucas Edwards | Member Since 10 Jul, 2018I have been DMing seince I was 15 years old, started out with 3.5, 4E, and Pathfinder. I only started properly writing out my worlds when I heard about World Anvil from one of my favorite youtubers, Tale Foundry.
After that, I started to realize how much I loved writing, reading, and the wonders of being able to make something people actually want to read.
Since that day, I have sought to put my mark on the world as an author, or game designer, and I might not be able to code at all, but I can craft a tabletop game, and I can write a world for it, and if I can get it finished, I will be happy enough with that.

While I am terrible at it, Graphical Design is a fascinating process to me.
I have a silly number of hobbies, ADHD will often randomly point me in some new random direction and I have to stop myself from spending vast amounts of money on stuff I won't use. Bookbinding is one of my most recent hobbies, but 3d Printing, miniature painting, writing, calligraphy (My handwriting is miserable, I have no idea why I thought I could do that one), among hundreds of other hobbies are ones I pick up, put down for years, and pick back up again.
Writing is the only one I always come back to.

I mostly watch youtube videos and series, I like the stuff youtubers make and their content is enjoyable. Booktubers and old-school longform lets players are the stuff I watch nowadays.

Sandman (Comic books should be allowed to count, Sandman is legendary)
Bubba the Monster Hunter.
The Odd Thomas books I love, up until the book after Brother Odd.

And so on and so on... Honestly I have way too many books I like.

Niel Gaiman (Actual legend, and used to live in a town right near where I live here in the US)

Larry Correia. (Rarely, I like some of his books)

Favorite Games
Rimworld. Just.... Rimworld. If I were to pick one game I can play, as long as I can keep my modlists, Rimworld will always be my favorite.
Darkest Dungeon
Terraria, Minecraft, Starbound, the usual.
Total War: Warhammer (Most all of em)
Crusader Kings 3 (I am really loving Roads to Power right now)
Lots of VR Titles.
Fallen London and Failbetter games various games, as well as anything by Cloud Factory, Cultist Simulator and Book of Hours inspires a lot of my writing.
