Neuromancy

A highly specialized branch of Curative Magic, Neuromancy uses techniques similar to those used in Fibramancy to strengthen and repair nerves. Since its accidental invention by First Warden of the Hydell Order Delilah Ponkatto in the middle of a high stakes battle with the Sparnell Armed Forces, Neuromancy has since been applied everywhere from surgeries to physical therapies involving nerve damage.

Utility

While most think of situations like brain surgery when considering instances where one might manipulate neurons, Neuromancy has proven its usefulness throughout the body, from reattaching severed limbs, to treating severe burn damage, to addressing chronic pain.   The concept of Neuromancy is quite simple. The patient's nerves are subjected to magical spells similar to those used to position and strengthen threads and plant fibers during sewing or weaving, allowing the caster a surprising level of control over the neurons.   Unlike when working with thread, however, the health and locations of nerves are critical to the health and quality of life of the patient. Neuromancy therefore requires intense patience and skill, and most practitioners have undertaken years of study to perfect their craft.

Yes! Not by itself, you'd need some traditional Curative Magic afterward to help speed things up, but absolutely yes a skilled neuromancer could heal spinal cord injuries.
