Staff profile—Master Eustache Ligné

An Enchantment master and faculty member at the University of Lille, he is a senior and influential member of the Artefact Department.
Master Eustache Ligné was born in a family deeply involved with textiles and who own the major fabric production centre North of Paris. This allowed him to form a deep expertise in all magical and technical aspects of cloth making while growing up. After making brilliant studies in Paris, he established a diversified researched program there before agreeing to move to Lille to complete our Artefact Division with his specialisation on weaving.   In our university, Master Ligné has centred his research around new combination of enchantment with weaving techniques and treatment of textile fibres. Thanks to his interest in his colleague's work and his support of any projects he find valuable, he quickly became an influential member of the Artefact Division. Lately, he has for example formed a close collaboration and friendship with our young Rune Master Laguillon.   You will find master Ligné to be a fastidious man obsessed with details, observing the proper forms, and good manners. He will bring the same care for details to his lectures and mentoring and will help any students bring their work to the next level.

Students' testimony

He's obsessed with textiles and clothing,
always observing and judging
other people's sartorial style.

To get good grades, just show up
to the exam in your fanciest clothes
- but absolutely avoid any fashion
faux pas if you want to pass!

Don't even take his module if you can't tell
the difference between needle lace and crochet.
