The Laws of OmniVerse
All sorts of magic are a common occurrence throughout the entirety of the universe, having existed since the dawn of time. Gods also wander in some realms, powerful and able to rule in them. Of particular note in each world, however:
- A magical rock known as Edenite is found in each world, with different types of elemental magic burned into them. By themselves, they hold immense magical energy and can essentially function as a battery.
- A mortal killing a god is nigh impossible. Killing a god has consequences.
- Space, Fate, and Time are all concepts that are manipulated by beings within these worlds, usually with dangerous consequences that affects everything.
Cosmology
There was only nothing. And then, there was fire.
From a massive explosion of fire in the darkness, reality formed. Space formed from the heat; creating the stars and galaxies and universes that can be found throughout The Outside. Time began to wind its clock in this void, putting everything onto a line that would constantly split off into separate realities. The strings of fate all began to form from the cooling of the fire, connecting everything and everyone and binding them to reality; and to space-time. There was nothing, and then there was fire as universes began to form in massive bubbles, containing everything born to that reality; each with its own set of rules.
And in the midst of all of it, a being known as The Holy awoken.
Initial Active Setting
When writing OmniVerse, I will focus mainly on a specific world for a long period of time until I feel that it is complete. My work for each world will include listing off a lot of species found throughout it, the various groups and nations, technologies that have been created in it and the myths that have come about in these worlds. Alongside that, each world will have a story that will be created for them. Overall, I will occasionally have work done on a major story that involves multiple worlds or contributes to the overarching lore of OmniVerse.
