The Vanguards Children Organization in OmniVerse | World Anvil

The Vanguards Children

The Vanguards' Children were a group of religious fanatics that had existed in secret for centuries, worshiping the Three Vanguards that are spoken of in myths such as the 10,000 Days. They believed that the Vanguards still exist to this day; and that they were to work to enact their will upon the populace. The Children acted behind the scenes, manipulating; blackmailing; controlling people so that they could bring the world back under the god that The Vanguards had existed alongside. Despite being broken apart in the early-1900s, however; there were a few who held onto their beliefs and kept them alive to this day...

Public Agenda

The Vanguards' Children had plotted to control the world through manipulation and lies; corruption and force. They would forcibly convert people into being a part of their group; and then make them go out to commit atrocities. These atrocities would involve destruction of governmental and religious property, murder of high-ranking government officials, assisting in various genocides, and many more crimes against humanity. A notable act The Vanguards' Children would do is that they would frame other groups; organizations and religions of the crimes of which they are guilty.   It is rumored that the founder of the Deepcore Foundation, Jebediah Russo; was originally a member of The Vanguards' Children; and specifically used their beliefs and the finances they had obtained to not only fund the Deepcore Foundation in it's early days, but was the factor in which would lead to the current methods the Deepcore Foundation uses nowadays.

Disbandment

After The Bloom occured, The Vanguards' Children were unable to keep themselves secret from the world, being forcibly exposed thanks to efforts from various other religious groups that had existed at the time. Upon discovery, all known alive members were arrested; with whatever few that had managed to escape hiding away...

*suspicious looks at the Deepcore Foundation*   I can definitely see why this organisation still casts a large shadow, especially if they are connected to the Deepcore Foundation, or if the Deepcore Foundation is a new front for them.
