Drow

The Drow, also known as Dark Elves, are an elven offshoot race that predominantly live in the Underdark.

Civilization and Culture

Gender Ideals

Drow society is matriarchal in structure with males never allowed to rule over a female. Due to their ancient elven origins some drow are born androgynous, those are usually killed or chased out to the surface.

Common Customs, Traditions and Rituals

The drow are hated and feared due to tales of their cruelty. All drow kingdoms are in constant state of war with all surface dwellers, raiding and pillaging. Some rade parties are capable of abducting an entire villages in a single night. Drow who escaped or chose to live outside of their societies usually prefer basements or sewers as their dwellings due to their eyes weakness to the Sun. Sadly, this further strengthen their reputation as lowlifes and criminals.
