Allowing the blood to mix with the vitatie will turn both into a crimson gaseous cloud that will circle around the caster until they've used it on a target. This power can be used, for example, to burst open an artery or to stop a friend from bleeding out, but it carries significant risks for the mage involved. The more blood they sacrifice, the stronger their powers, and if they lose too much, they risk their own death.

Opinions of the vitatie vary from country to country all across Lethea. In societies where vitality magic is viewed as a danger to be controlled, people are sceptical of those who sell Vitatie Den supplements.
