Known for its deep, dark, secretive rainforest, Greenglimmer is a sparsely populated area of the Elfiniti Rainforest, a forest in southeast Uka's Lament.
Founded by
Kjiven, an elfine whizan, 43,078 years previous, it became a shelter for ghostly Kanderite wildelfines. He battled forest dwellers for land, and had not quite cemented all his planned conquests when he stopped. The odd shape of his Greenglimmer is due to his sudden ceasation of hostilities.
The forest already had a native population, and they did not appreciate the encroachment into their lands. None had a
spiritesti strong enough to take on Kjiven and his kin, so carried their resentment until the Dryanthium flood of 19,876 years previous. The largest of the giant lake's dams burst, sending flood waters roaring down the Dryanflow. Anyone, anything, caught in the waters perished.
Kijven, in his port city of Selaserat, disappeared, and survivors assumed the waves sent him to the Final Death. Seeing opportunity, the Wiiv attacked his citadel in the Wrorl (now the Uprise) Mountains, called Kjivendei, and exterminated every ghost they found.
They, in turn, met their death while carrying loot down the mountainside.
Ever since, unease has existed between the ghostly and living inhabitants. Exascerbating the conflicts is the hint of a dark presence, something that underlies the rainforest and brings chaos to those residing there.
Of Note:
Ghosts come from Talis, a continent on the planet of Sensour. They go by the general term faelareign, and include dryans, elfines, humans, nymphs and sprites.
The living beings of the Evenacht are native peoples of the evening lands. They go by the general term
umbrareign. Greenglimmer forest dwellers are mostly from the rufang and chavosine sub-species, though some evaki (such as Avies) live there.

A wonderful selection for the awards. I wish you the best of luck and keep my fingers crossed for you. I hope that the health problem got through it well and wish a speedy recovery.
Thank you :) and thanks for the concern. Yeah, my father had a heart attack in December, and I've needed to deal with some things concerning that. He's stable now, and we'll see what happens in the next couple of months.
All the best for you and your dad.
