Vast ruins as far as the eye can see, a city made for giants and overflowing with magical technology beyond current understanding. Once inhabited by a species whose existence is synonymous with magic, it now stands empty and perilous to would-be travelers.
@[Dragon's Claw](location:74a66741-0616-41bd-87a6-ab7d8c02cf8a) is one of the shorter mountains in the @[Spikes of Kallex](location:ae0e053d-b839-46ed-a66e-3e5428fa1135), but the first documented climb of this mountain led to a revolution in mountaineering and mapmaking in the area. @[Traenas Elrel](person:d9091f84-94de-4f1c-af36-b82cb03614e2) and his climb of @[Dragon's Claw](location:74a66741-0616-41bd-87a6-ab7d8c02cf8a) is considered the birth of mountaineering in the @[Spine of Kallex](location:e0033a8e-f7dd-42ba-9281-4127f18fbeb5) as most believed it was impossible to climb those dangerous mountains.
@[Dragon's Peak](location:64a67eec-d8c2-4e62-a8c2-15762afdc214) is one of the @[Spikes of Kallex](location:ae0e053d-b839-46ed-a66e-3e5428fa1135) at the northern most end of the @[Spine of Kallex](location:e0033a8e-f7dd-42ba-9281-4127f18fbeb5). This mountain denotes where the land begins to give way to the @[Teeth of the North](location:1d85c97c-c256-4171-b168-0cbe40d2fc74) and dangerous terrain for boats along the northern shore of @[Vóreios](location:26b2c1bf-5618-453e-9e0c-e79a9519f5a0).
It is a rare sight to see one of the hidden valleys of the @["Metallic Council"](location:93187e97-ad65-4dd3-8c72-849716ee91a8) in full bloom with @[Edenblooms](species:efd862a1-fe10-4839-9dcb-cb166a2849cd). The last instance of this was when @[Wenso](person:a428e73b-0768-4e35-8dfa-6951107b4541) joined the @[Council of Metallic Dragons](organization:ce7a5e0d-7d02-4d1f-9b4f-20324339a18e).

From the north, these hills look unassuming, catching the light and allowing the sight of other hills to blend in with what could be an idyllic spot. This view is what led to a @[Shaman](profession:1b49f4a5-decc-40f7-abcd-a6ee004f71d3) stopping during his travels to get a closer look at this cluster of three hills. The man would name this cluster the @[Hills of Vollan](landmark:724c0ed2-ea69-464e-b29b-592c69caca89) and it would eventually become home to the arena where the @[Vollan Rue](ritual:6bc64e6e-d0f2-41d5-b4e4-7ab119caf289) is held.

The valleys around its base hide the homes of many peoples and the entrance to the home of the @[Metallic Dragons](species:2be6c926-c3bd-41b7-8da7-7e7656d3c5c9). Only those deemed worthy by the @[Metallic Dragons](species:2be6c926-c3bd-41b7-8da7-7e7656d3c5c9) may find the entrance to their sanctuary. Very few have ever entered through the entrance beneath @[Kallex's Tooth](location:00532476-8a6c-41b9-9aa6-3bcf4904cce5).
A place of mysteries and darkness, Káto is known for its winding tunnels, huge caverns, and deep mysteries that even its denizens have not solved. Those who enter here must practice great caution or suffer the consequences.
The largest lake on the continent that supplies the five major rivers in this area that flow across many lands. It sports many small settlements, as travelers see the lake as a less intense hub that they can use to circumvent some more dangerous lands as they move goods from one country to another.

One of the reasons that @[Dreadfall](settlement:be3d9378-41ba-4dd3-90df-1366d435a856) was built near the abyss was due to the thick, magical mist that blanketed the area. @[Mount Qimbyr](location:e538df0c-c4b6-48ae-9d26-2261f8036d61) is known best for its ties to @[Qimbyr Pass](location:595d983f-bda0-4ebd-9a13-3ea4abecec39), the safest passage across the @[Spine of Kallex](location:e0033a8e-f7dd-42ba-9281-4127f18fbeb5) in the @[Elven Forest](location:b61640dd-0b7f-4410-8213-ad51291fbf70). A mystical place with a serene body of water that was involved in an ancient challenge long lost to time. Navigation in this area is impossible for most mortals and lesser creatures; a dense fog confounds all travelers regardless of magical tools or expertise in pathfinding.
Deep within the @[Timbers of the Furnace](location:30058074-b2c2-46a8-92bd-f4c98176fd00), shanties appear in the distance, hidden in what the @[Dwarves](species:8799d83e-a964-4f8e-9c58-9bd426ef0c08) call Prospect Valley. This glade and its deep wells are full of precious ores and gems.
Deep cracks web across the ground throughout areas of the @[Deadzones](location:98243196-9da5-469f-8990-8a2d1bf4e773). Here, the power of the @[Eldritch Beings](species:12a0ab5c-204e-41a5-8d2e-14c0d7e125a8) reached deep into the earth, creating scars that no amount of time will ever heal.
A wild and dangerous area that is inhabited by a cursed species, the @[Gnolls](species:167a3445-a050-4cde-b399-159e4b114d45). While many older trade routes that offer direct passage might be tempting, travel through these lands is not advised. It is said that at one point these lands were beautiful beyond compare, but what is remains is not.
A beautiful and temperate destination that acts as a safe haven for the @[Southern Continent](location:8f6eae07-fe72-4323-95e2-8b36f72ac97a), most intercontinental trade and travel will move through these lands. Here you will find large cities, sprawling farms, and the best naval assets in the world.
