The Laws of Isekai
Magic and power are expressed through authority. This can manifest through history, legends, bloodlines, gods, and the will of Isekai itself. The greater of an impact that a force has on the course of history, the more authority it will wield in the eyes of the world spirit.
Cosmology
The world of Isekai has existed beyond the natural definition of time, there has never been mention of a being that created it. The gods of Isekai discovered this land, this existence known as Isekai, and recognized it as a powerful, conscious, concentration of magic that made all others they had known look like a shadow of existence. The world of Isekai is a conscious, magical entity that asserts its will in the form of physical, magical, and metaphysical rules that define how every being functions within its influence and how all other authority is recognized with itself being the highest authority to establish that reality.
Principal Geography & Features
The geography is highly varied, containing vast biomes of every imaginable kind to include: Arctic, Subterranean, Vast Underwater expanses, Deserts, Plains, Ancient Forests, Mountains that reach high into the clouds. These features are often separated by rivers or bodies of water that mark a transition in elevation and landscape that gradually shifts the nature of the plants, animals, and topographical features. The landmasses are large, spanning thousands of miles with deep oceans that separate them, islands are plentiful but seldom small.
The world of Isekai is not a round planet, the top of it is a round plane of existence that has a definite edge that has never been reached. The ocean itself has vastly uncharted depths that seem to extend downwards forever, few beings on Isekai have ventured beyond the reach of all light and magical scrying to explore just how far it goes down. The landmasses of Isekai are full of shifting, changing, winding tunnels, caverns, and passageways that compose a vast network known as Káto.
Initial Active Setting
The initial size of the active setting is currently limited to the Northern Continent of Vóreios. This continent is home to a variety of biomes and races, to include the Elder Races.
Information can be found throughout the world about Nótios, the Southern Continent, but our main focus is currently the Northern Continent.
