Dark hallways stretch infinitely long in the waning glow of a lantern. Her footsteps and those of her companions echo in the empty halls, but as they continue deeper, the sound of running water drowns out all else. The walls have become cool to the touch as their faces become slimy with moss and lichen, but that does not stop her from carefully feeling her way forward, ever wary for the feeling of a slipping stone or a hollow section that could signify a trap. In the depths of this dungeon, her companions' fate rests in her hands, and for now, she would rather be covered in the grime of a long-forgotten tomb than the blood of her friends.
A stone cracks behind them and they drop to the floor as arrows whiz by overhead. Stuttered apologies are whispered by their newest recruit, but she does not bother to answer as she slowly rises to her feet and inspects her party. A few scratches from the rocky floor, but nothing more. She turns her focus back to their journey and the sound of rushing water that should signify their objective. The four men with her have little idea what they are searching for, but they trust her judgment and follow her deeper into the catacombs.
Malra Mue leads a ragtag group of old, grizzled adventurers, young archaeologists, and middle-aged history buffs that all wish for a moment with the greatest treasures of Isekai. She is by far the youngest, only being five years younger than the others at best. Her expertise is unquestioned when it comes to the extraction of priceless artifacts from the most dangerous places in the world. She goes to the places that others won't, unearthing objects that have been left to the earth for millennia. While of Human descendent, her knowledge is highly sought after by all the kingdoms and empires of Vóreios, but she prefers to dutifully serve as the appointed leader of the Empress' Cultural Fund.
