Copper Power

8 Prompts
2 Wild Card Prompts
Theme Description
The first theme (and the copper prompts wave) is all about POWER, in all its different manifestations—physical power, political power, and more! For inspiration, we have a guide to creating power dynamics in worldbuilding. Here are some additional questions you can think about this week to prepare for the first prompt wave:
Which are the powerful organizations within your world setting? Who are the powerful individuals? What kinds of power do they wield and what are their weaknesses and needs?
My Goal
Power is the perfect place to highlight the forces at work in my primary world of Creation. The Vampires in their Shadow War, the Phoenix's Watch in their quest to hold back the darkness and even greater forces just now waking or being revealed.

Silver Frontiers

8 Prompts
2 Wild Card Prompts
Theme Description
The second theme, for the silver prompts wave, is Frontier! Frontiers are boundaries between things, borders—but the word also has a connection to the edge of the “known world”. Frontiers are worldbuilding gold, so we’ve put together a deep dive about using frontiers in worldbuilding! Here are some questions you can use to get started:
Where are the frontiers in your worldsetting? And why would anyone want to go there?! What about metaphorical frontiers, like the “frontier of medicine” or space, the “final frontier”?
My Goal
I have a feeling this will delve into the world creation myth with the state of the Elder Gods as well as my secondary world focusing on Science Fiction. This will give me a chance to revisit the Archon-Zero One-Shot and polish some of pieces connecting to this. I am on the lookout for world building my magic system and the Realms Beyond. This may be the one! This is also an opportunity to expand the vampire domains just under the surface of mortal life combined with the ward/domain map.

Gold Relics

8 Prompts
2 Wild Card Prompts
Theme Description
Relics are the remnants of past ages, and they’re a great tool to show your world’s history, as well as cultural values, in the present. After all, if something has been preserved throughout history, it means people consider it to be important! We wrote a blog post about relics and history in worldbuilding so you can get some inspiration for this theme. Here’s a couple of questions you can use to get started too:   What aspects of the past are revered today in your world setting? Which peoples are remembered? And which are forgotten, and why?
My Goal
Wow such an easy theme, I will have to be careful not to over use this. Elder Gods are relics, Vampire by the nature are relics of their human life. This like all theme will depend on the prompts. Will this give me a chance to dig into timelines and use them for my World Creation Myth as well as establish the Era's, that seems a solid idea. Using the given hints is a solid bonus to expand on timelines.

Theme Description
Communication is an essential tool for societies, and it includes way more than just language! And as worldbuilders and storytellers, communication systems and the flow of information can be a great tool for showing the mood and themes of your world, and creating great plot points. Check out our worldbuilding communication blog post, and use these questions to get started:   How do people and organizations from different backgrounds or cultures communicate with each other? How does communication happen over short and long distances? Who in your setting communicates secretly or carefully, and how?
My Goal
This will be my challenging theme I think. Scrambling the homework a bit as a focus I will move a review of the world meta, categories and tags forward here, as things like colangs and white boards are not a focus for me. This theme more than any other will be about the prompts or the wild cards. I will try to keep an open mind.
