Dragons
Reproduction
Dragons reproduce through internal fertilization. After a male dragon has fertilized a females eggs, the female dragon will find a warm, dark place to lay them. The female dragon will remain with the eggs to protect them for the several weeks until they are hatched. Once the baby dragons hatch, they are completely dependent on their parents for the first 5 years of their life.
There have been instances where the female dragon has abbandoned her children either afther laying the eggs or after the eggs have hatched. When this occurs the Male dragon will often take the eggs or Wyrmling and raise it himself.
