Artym Bondarenko
Human xenologist from a Russian-descended planet. His primary area of study is the ancient Polganite Sun Empire, one of the superpowers in the world-wrecking Terminus Wars on Polganos some seven hundred years ago.
In 324 he took part in an expedition to study a ruined Sun Empire city, during which he nearly died following accidental exposure to a biological weapon in an ancient underground bunker. He was saved by his fellow students Vexan Flare and Lenka Rogers.
