CrocWorld
CrocWorld is a reptile-themed theme park in the Nakkan Swamp, located just ten miles north of the Nakkan Swamp Resort. The organisation was founded in 2938, starting out as a small family-owned collection of nakkan crocodiles, which were not endangered at the time.
History
Founding
Founded in 2938, CrocWorld started as just a private collection of nakkan crocodiles. Eirain Malcan purchased three crocodiles from a larger collection in Nakata, a small town close by. These crocodiles were raised by the Malcan family, who owned a large estate on the edge of the Nakkan Swamp, bordering the Nakkan Grasslands.
Two of these crocodiles were a breeding pair, and within six months the family ended up with seventeen more crocodiles. The hatching of these babies caused the family to open themselves to the public a few days a year, for crocodile handling sessions.
2957 Expansion: CrocWorld
The family's business had grown steadily since its opening, and 2957 saw the beginning of a major expansion and rebranding. The business was officially named CrocWorld and the organisation tripled in size, going from nine acres to twenty-seven. By 2957 CrocWorld had acquired over seventy nakkan crocodiles, which were reclassified as endangered three years prior. This put them on the map as one of the major crocodilian-breeding locations on Emycelium, forcing them to go down the route of conservation as all eyes were on them.
Present Day
By present day, CrocWorld established themselves as the biggest crocodile facility on the planet, with over three hundred nakkan crocodiles. Over thirty percent of nakkan crocodiles in captivity are found at CrocWorld.
The organisation's main focus was and always has been profit over conservation, but due to the public's focus on the former, they also support countless other wildlife organisations and breed nakkan crocodiles to be released into the wild.
