Valda looks around her and then hands you the tree branch used to knock out the soldier in the first place.
You heft the solid piece of wood, taking a moment to shift it around in your hands.
“L-look, we don’t have to do this you know,” the soldier stammers, “I-I-I don’t k-know anything.” His eyes pop open in sudden fear as you step forward. “WAIT! I’ll tell you whatever you want!!”
“Oh,” you grin, “I know you will.” You point to his right leg and then look to the Kutollum. “Hold that leg out. I’ll just take the knee cap off.”
Dorbane leans down as the boy screams, “NOOO! ANYthing! I’ll t-tell you anything at all!! Don’t break my leg!”
Before you can swing downward, the Gypsy steps in your way.
“You know…if you break his leg, he can’t get to town if you decide to let him go.” She raises her eyebrows at you. “Not that I care, mind you, but I’m certainly not carrying his treacherous hide back to civilization. Are you?”
“Hmmmm,” you ponder, “Didn’t think of that.”
