Balseraphim | Thicket of Thorns

Balseraphim

During the Original Fall, the most pure examples of Divine Truth — the Seraphim — who rose up against God sought to subvert the truth they perceived to have been forced on them. They no longer trusted any of the supposed truths in the world, and instead their souls were twisted into deceit and lies.   They might not enjoy the position of priviliged nobility in Inferno that their divide counterparts do in Keter, but that doesn't prevent them from trying to get there. And with Lucifer themselves being of their kind, they do have something to back up their claim.

Special abilities

Twisting truths and leading others astray comes natural to the Balseraphim. They believe that any claim is just an attempt to force them to accept something they don't want to. They are convinced enough of this that they are able to make others believe any truth the demon decides on at the moment. It takes a very strong mind to withstand their lies, and even then, the Balseraphim are able to puush the limits in order to break their victim.

True form

In their true form, Balseraphim are giant snakes with large leathery wings and their eyes glow. It is theorised that at least some references in religious texts to decietful snakes actually describe tese demons. The exact details beyond this general description depends entirely on the individual.
