Tribal people living on the southeastern seaboard of Seari, in the countries of Rakan, Teral and Baq. They are divided into four major tribes, which are created from numerous smaller tribes.

The Dragon Road. A pilgrimage route that runs past the Five Dragon Lairs. It begins in Rikondi, at the Well, runs west and around the Sea of Condioh, then down to the Crystal Waterfall and the Glass Volcano, contineus southeast to the dock that accessed Seaside, then it followed the coastline north to Hekara's Abyss. Now primarily a trade route known as the Lower Trade Route.

Northern Plateau country west of Kyranbetht and east of Fein. The Jonna Countries refer to it as Draegoon, a play on dragon. Ruler: Myanora. Capital: Drae-mith. Language: Draegish.

Martial order created by Ivore, to right the wrongs practiced on those who could not afford justice. Ex-members are called e ada sindosina and receive a stipend from the Rakan crown for their service.

First Light Island

First Light Island is the only large Northern Wastes habitation and sits in the middle of the Great Lake of the First Dragons. It is considered a religious center because it plays an important part in religous myth. The Earth Mother sylfaone, Aseris, supposedly created the Northern Wastes first.

The Five Dragons

The Five Dragons refers to Gada Kiore (Earth Mother), Kykini Cede (Flame Dragon), Lajaka (Ice Dragon), Suva (Water Dragon) and Sykava (Wind Dragon). These five dragons are the basis for numerous myths in Seari, and play an important role in pivotal historic events. Modern scholars, however, doubt the authenticity of the claims. They see the tales more as a way for those defeated in war to explain their loss, or as a way for cultures to link their heroes to a powerful being, which validates their way of life.
