Romantic High Fantasy and Alternative History novel set in an alternative 19th century Europe. An important Polish noble family was exiled from their country and had to take refuge in France. A few generations later, the family matriarch family sees a chance to reconquer her land in one of her great-grand-daughter. Unfortunately for the family, the politics of Europe are not very propice to such adventures. War indeed hangs above all, especially with the threat posed by Prussia and its ambitious king, and neither Poland nor France are safe from his schemes...
