High Romantic Fantasy novella set in a city of a thousand towers at the heart of a magical technological revolution.   The City of a Thousand Towers is a city-state in a middle of a technological revolution. The merchants-mages that lead it have found a way to enslave people to their will and to create artificial bodies that can be animated by binding them to a soul. And any soul will do.   Most inhabitants of the city are magically weak and make mediocre servants. However, just under the city lies the ruins of an ancient mausoleum, where the families of the legendary mages-kings that ruled the city millennia ago left their soul in jars.   Galáteia awakens in this new world without any memory, with someone calling herself her mistress putting a knife in her hand and pointing her towards the tower where her enemy resides...
