Blightbane Guild

The Blightbane have been operating in distant lands, but they have travelled West to track the spread of the Blight. They are losing the fight, unable to eradicate the infestation with present resources.

The symbol represents the world and the blight tainting it. The marks are both festerfonts and areas where guilds are located.

History

Origin:

The Blightbane Guild was founded by a group that came to be called the Blight Seekers because they sought to purge the blight from the face of the planet. Until recently, their mission was not treated seriously, because the blight was not terribly dangerous to anyone who did not simply avoid it. It was more dangerous to Seekers themselves, but they were normally motivated by getting rich by taking risks rather than living quiet lives, or motivated to get stronger through the consumption of Blightseeds.

Early History:

In the past, there had been a large push to eradicate the Blight off the face of the planet. This was when the Blight Seekers were originally founded, but this information was distorted as time went on and recordings were lost.

Seekers exist all over the planet, though how the Guilds developed within their contained nations and civilizations is different. Caim only really comes to know the human Seekers of the theocracy he is immediately transported to.
