Red Sister Lawret
(lah-reht'), is a Davrin born in Sivaraus.
Lawret is a "middling" Red Sister; not a novice but not a Corpora or higher. Still, she is an expert with many tools and tactics compared to most in the Valsharess's Army, ready and willing to practice fighting. She has a memorable voice with an unusually high pitch, but otherwise looks average.
Background
Lawret came from the merchant class but was restless there long before the first Red Sister stalked her. She hadn't gone hungry or seen quite as much filth as Jaunda and Kiren, but was the only Sister of the three who caught and birthed a child while barely more than a child herself. Lawret doesn't know what became of him as he ran away at a young age. Inquiries once suggested he might have joined the Deep Traders but he could just as easily be dead.
Current
Red Sister Lawret learned much from Corpora Kiren as a novice and enjoyed Lead Jaunda's attention with her willingness to wrestle at the drop of a cloak. She became the trio's feisty third with energy to spare. She tends to influence other Red Sisters toward aggression when her voice hits that high, excited note, so Jaunda always makes sure she's with them when it's time to put the fear of the Sisterhood into someone.
