(kur'-jee-ah it-lawn'-ah-doov), , is a Davrin Elf born of the Tenth House in Sivaraus.
Curgia is the Second Daughter of House Itlaun. She has an older sister who prefers to be called by her title, Itlaunadara (favored heir), who spends most of her time at Court. She also has a younger sister, third-born Tulia. The sisters also have a very young brother, Grelio, still being tutored in the nursery.
Background
Curgia and her siblings are all part of the "second clutch" of the elderly Matron Itlaun, whose first set of heirs all perished in an event she refuses to discuss. It is unknown how much wealth the Matron paid to the Sanctuary and their contacts to be granted the ability to have four more children within two centuries, especially beginning again at an advanced age of five hundred fifty.
What has resulted, however, are three Daughters determined to obey and please their Mother. How they decide to do this varies.
Current
With three Daughters all of safe breeding age and wealth being re-built on running more shops of finished goods, Matron Itlaun prepared for the next worship ball, impressing upon her Second Daughter the importance of swaying a Priestess's favor prior to the ball. The First Daughter remained busy at Court and among the shops while the more bold and outspoken Curgia was sent to the Sanctuary. Mild Tulia remained in the House's quarters at the Palace.
Although Curgia's daring speech with the Conceiver Wilsira prior to the ball would indeed sway her consideration granting a Royal Consort to help assure the stability of the aging Matron's House, nothing is ever straightforward with the Daughters of Braqth. Curgia may learn a similar lesson to her Mother how far ambition can be carried when it comes to bloodlines in the Conceiver's care.
