Vynarsa is the northernmost region within Southern Nefyran, connecting the southern and central sections of the continent.

The Holy Front

Home to the Church of Dawn, this land of mixed jungles and grasslands is a haven for refugees of all walks of life, who often come to make their home within Eletta, or the Church itself. Worship of Vosra, the New Dawn is at its strongest in these lands; where most of the world will pay the goddess reverence to differing degrees, the people of Vynarsa are the most likely to devote themselves fully to her worship and veneration.

Lands Divided

Vynarsa is broken into two sections, a northern and southern region, with only an altered stone structure acting as the bridge between them. Known as the Great Crossing, this immense structure is all that stands between travelers and stony seawaters below.
There are many who devote their lives to the bridge's maintenance, but the hands struggle to outpace the natural decay of the structure. Some fear that one day, the crossing may be entirely lost to them.

Warring Faith

The people of Vynarsa, in their reverence of Vosra, are not ones to engage in warfare or assaults on nearby lands, but one major conflict did arise in Vynarsa's history — a civil war, between Eletta and Kintelen. This conflict, referred to as the Siege of Eletta, was short-lived and put a harsh stain on Kintelen, as the aggressor.
The leaders of Kintelen lashed out at their Vynari kin out of jealousy, and paid a hefty price, drawing disdain from the Church of Dawn and their former family in Eletta. This poor relationship lives on between the common folk of these two cities, and the rivalries dig deep, even among those who once shared close ties prior to the conflict.

Vosra's Palm

Myths are abundant in Vynarsa, especially those surrounding their beloved goddess, Vosra. There are many who view the continent of Nefyran as a physical representation of the embrace of the goddess.
Thus, those who reside in Vynarsa refer to their homeland as the Palm, and may use similar terms to reference other nearby lands. Everbright, the Minor, Bolkan, the Ring, and Earthen Kingdoms, the Index, after fingers of the Goddess.
