Clenea

Moon of Vele

Clenea is a theoretical barren satellite that some believe orbits around its host, the gas giant Vele. Evidence for its existence is scant and the theories that name and describe it are full of wild claims that tarnish their credibility. Still, astronomers find it probable that celestial bodies would likely lie in Vele’s orbit, but because of the planet’s distance from Riel, they would be too difficult to spot with telescopes. A barren and lifeless satellite, such as Clenea, seems far more believable than the grandiose claims about Vele’s other moon, Hecil.
