Dragon Harmony Association

The Dragon Harmony Association is a veeeeery serious association set up to change the world's views on dragons, and make the world a better, safer place. While I am all for maintaining harmony on Dracosei, their methods are a little... unorthodox.

Founding

The Dragon Harmony Association, or DHA, was founded in the year 1948 by a woman named Aria Marosk. From a very young age, Aria always had the dream to make the world a safer place, and she felt very strongly about this. She believed that dragons and people didn't have to fight all the time, and she wanted to change the world. So, when she was 19, she set out to start. Times were tough for her at this point, and she barely had anyone paying attention to her. Luckily, a few people eventually noticed her stall, with bright signs painted with the most vibrant of colours, pleads for help scrawled on posters around the school she attended, and she gained some attention. A newly formed group of four would then go about, stapling posters to trees and posts across the continent of Etrea, and the group gained more fame and attention the longer they kept at it.

Development

After the group of four were formed, more and more people started tagging along for the adventure, as the group travelled around Etrea looking for attention, to try and achieve their goal of changing the world. Through speeches and conferences, posters galore, Aria and her small organisation grew and grew until they started raising money for the cause.

With money supporting the organisation, they could afford to rent a small building that they would use as the base of their operation. With more and more money streaming into the organisation, the building grew and grew, not only in size but in support too, with more and more people joining the cause, all with the same views. While Aria had for the most part felt alone in her feelings, she now realised how many people were like her, and how many people desired a world of peace.

Taking Action

The Fire of the Depths

The Fire of the Depths was one of the most devastating things to have happened the group of three settlements underground in the southwest of Etrea. The fire spread through all three villages, somehow travelling through the long stone tunnels that travel miles underground just to get to each other. Nobody knows how the fire started, but there are tons of rumours saying that the DHA was the main cause by this, as Aria was seen immediately after the fire started, in the place where the fire started. She vehemently denies these claims, but it is mostly accepted by the general public that she was the cause.
Nobody really knows why Aria set the fires, either, since it has absolutely nothing to do with her motivation and the organisation. Many theorise it was a terrorist tactic to scare people into listening to them, and boy did it work. Quickly, all eyes were on the organisation, and the DHA became a consistent controversial face in the news worldwide. Everyone and their mum knew the DHC now, which is exactly what Aria wanted.

Tavertral Speech

With all eyes on the DHA now, Aria set up to give a large speech in the middle of Tavertral, where everyone could watch her. If I remember correctly, the speech was even seen on Greenerth, a neighbouring planet accessed by spaceships.
Aria's speech was a mixture of belittling rulers of Dracosei and scaring the audience into believing her, greatly exaggerating the war between dragons and people: spoiler alert, there wasn't a war and only some people hated dragons. After this speech, many people started to worry for Aria's mental health, believing fame had gotten to her head and she was spiralling out of control. She was doing everything in her power to convert people, and to make them believe that people were at war with dragons and it needed to be stopped. Her motivations were good, but her actions certainly weren't.

Continued Controversy

Aria's controversial actions continued after the Tavertral Speech. In 1960, news reporters accused Aria of violations of the law, abusing the rights of the people that worked for her organisation. According to many news reports, she would frequently lash out at people for "no reason", throw fits of rage, including but not limited to physical abuse, verbal abuse, as well as purposely sabotaging the works of her employers. Apparently, word got out after a few of her employers were fired, and they reported her to officials and wrote to newsletters. These reports have not been confirmed, but are widely accepted, accepted by me as well.

Change

Despite the controversies Aria has induced, the DHA has made significant achievements since their founding in 1948. The DHA has over 5.6 million supporters, recieved over 40 billion runes in support and charity, and over 400 employees work at the DHA Headquarters.

Exacting change was never going to be easy, and Aria was fully aware of that from the beginning. I'm just surprised she still maintained her status, even after the reports of everything she has done. I do not condone a single thing she has done, yet I do support the premise of the organisation and I believe that people and dragons should get along.
